From sensory play to role play, we do drama differently because…
everyone can play!
Joyful creativity for young people who communicate in their own way.
We use a non-verbal physical theatre practice to collaborate with people with intellectual disabilities, creating joyful sessions which reflect and celebrate each individual’s unique creativity.
The sessions work to foster the participant’s agency, capability, creativity and connection.
Through our play-based practice, using music, improvisation and physical theatre, we support the development of each individual’s confidence and self expression. This isn’t drama as you know it.
Exciting news!!

We are a trio of highly experienced drama practioners—Ainsley, Afrodite, and Emma—with extensive backgrounds in special needs settings. Having dedicated many years to working in these environments, we are wholeheartedly delighted to now offer a creative practice created with , by and for individuals with intellectual and multiple disabilities.
Our approach is deeply influenced by the transformative Open Theatre Practice, and our close association with the directors of the Open Theatre Company UK, who serve as our mentors and friends, enables us to provide something truly unique here in Australia.
